Two
trout oblige
Contributed by Mike Roden (10.04.2005)
Did not expect too much as there had been a cold spell for a few
days prior to my first outing of the season. On the day it was warmer
and got warmer still during the morning. Small hatch of Olives with
little interest from our residents.
As I was making my way back to the car I saw two or three risers
and decided to have a last ditch attempt. 10 minutes later two small
but perfectly formed trout were released, after falling for a Greenwells
Spider and a Snipe and Purple on top and middle droppers. So all's
well that end's well. I fished upstream from Musgrave bridge.
