Just to put everyone fully in the picture, I can confirm that Dave
Rickerby and myself stocked the river with 500 fish on the 23 April
2003. We spent most of the day distributing the fish to 18 separate
locations on the main river. I can also confirm that the fish, which
came from the Dunsop Bridge Trout Farm, were some of the best I have
ever seen. All were in the weight range 1.25 to 2lbs. Good luck catching
them but leave a few for me please. I havn't had chance to get to
the river since we stocked. |
